One such key area is Employee engagement and Employee satisfaction. Apart from bursting the other myths like HR department is not merely a hiring and firing machine, neither solely pro- management, today HR department in keen on conveying to the organization and employees that the HR department Is not solely responsible for ensuring Employee Engagement and Employee satisfaction. In fact it is the executing and implementation machinery of the organization. Then the question arise as to who’s responsibility is it to ensure employee engagement and employee satisfaction. The paper focuses on this grey area as to how the employee engagement and satisfaction can be ensured by the top management and how can it be made a part of the strategy. This research paper also tries to explain as to how balance score card can be used to generate effective employee engagement, and how employee engagement is an antecedent of employee satisfaction.
