Abstract:
The Government of India initiated Make in India scheme to promote manufacturing products of multinational and domestic companies in India. It was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25 September 2014. In this paper we have discussed the Make in India scheme. We have given an idea about movement of India’s manufacturing sector and its performance in terms of growth Pune rates of IIP. It has also been tried to focus on various policy measures and additional reasons for the new initiative. It has also been tried to find new initiatives by introducing enhanced manufacturing techniques for various sectors under make in India.
